I am pleased to announce a new on-going educational program developed with John Wilkie of Edward Jones Investments that is designed to help CWA Members better understand investing in the market as well as our own 401Kplan. The program will focus on the systematic approach that Edward Jones uses to properly invest based on age, risk tolerance and other needs-based factors. Current investment choices available to members participating in the 401K will be used as a guide in the discussion.
This is a free offering and exclusive to our Brothers and Sisters. This will be a 1 hour session and will be held at the Local the 1st Wednesday of every month at 6:30 pm starting with December 2, 2009.
Also, free sessions will be held at the South fork Recreation Center located at 4403 Country Club Road in the Our House Building on November 17th.
John Wilkie will also be available for one-on-one consultation by appointment to answer in-depth questions or concerns that you may have regarding any matters including life insurance, debt management and investing outside of your 401K that may not be addressed in the sessions.
He can be contacted anytime to address your financial concerns.
Seating is limited so please contact John Wilkie or Vonda Hardy if you are interested in attending as we move forward. A reminder email will be sent the day before all educational sessions.
In Solidarity,
Vonda Hardy
