CWA Local 3640 Membership Meeting

April 14, 2009

Call to order: 12:04pm.

Pledge of Allegiance

Chairperson: President Vonda Hardy

E-Board members in attendance: Vickey Hoots, Darla Meyer, Jerry Lindsay, Paul Lindner, Derrick Hicks.

E-Board members not attending: Lori Manuel and Robin Powell.

Darla read the minutes of March 10, 2009 E-Board meeting.

Paul Lindner made a motion to accept the minutes as read, Ralph Roby seconded the motion.

Motion carried: 10 for 0 against.

Darla read the minutes of March 10, 2 009 Membership meeting.

Susan Clifton made a motion to accept the minutes with correction of lost to loss. Paul Lindner seconded the motion.

Motion carried: 10 for 0 against.

Financial report reviewed, questions answered by Darla Meyer.

Craig Leake motioned to accept financial report with second by Jerry Lindsay.

Motion carried: 10 for 0 against.

Committee reports:

Derrick Hicks gave report on Equity conference. Topics included: unity and harassment in the workplace.

Rich Dennis went over March 28th Legislative committee meeting and provided a contact list of our representatives for EFCA.

Vonda advised of the upcoming Women’s committee meeting at the Local Saturday April 25th from 1:00pm to 3:00pm.

New Business:

Vonda advised that the executive board was meeting with management today at 3:30pm to discuss compliance.

Good and Welfare:

Brenda Miller and Jackie Frazier grandmother’s passed away.
