CWA Local 3640 Membership Meeting

December 14, 2010

Call to Order: 12:05pm.

Pledge of Allegiance

Chairperson: President Vonda Hardy

E-Board in attendance: Vickey Hoots, Darla Meyer, Paul Lindner and Jerry Lindsay.

E-Board not in attendance: Lori Manuel (vacation), Robin Powell (training) and Ralph Roby (scheduled off).

Darla read the minutes of the November 9, 2010 Membership Meeting. Paul Lindner motioned to accept the minutes as read with a second from Jerry Lindsay.

Motioned carried 7 for 0 against.

Darla went over and discussed the financial report for November 2010. Vickey Hoots motioned to accept the financial report with a second from Susan Clifton.

Motion carried 7 for 0 against.

Vonda advised members attending that with 3 Executive Board members not present in meeting that we would have a open forum meeting.

Rich Dennis asked for the floor to discuss Legislative issues that he and Paul Lindner went over in a semi formal meeting held early December. Future Legislative meetings have not been scheduled at this time.

Vonda talked about the meeting with the Company and Forsyth County to be held December 20th.  The Company is looking for financial incentives from the County for hiring here in INT.

Discussion on agents parking in the Handicap parking that do not have the proper parking permits.

Discussion on safety within the building when security guards are sleeping on the job.

Discussion on January 1, 2011 changes in the building and if the company was going to enforce the no perfume/cologne policy.

Discussion on agents with lower seniority in PHX getting better shifts than agents in INT.

Discussion on up coming contract negotiations starting June 2011.

Drawing for wearing red on Thursdays for November will be drawn in January 2011 meeting.

Vickey Hoots motioned to adjourn meeting with a second from Paul Lindner.
