Membership Meetings

CWA Local 3640 Membership Meeting

July 19, 2011

Call to Order: 6:00pm.

Pledge of Allegiance

Chairperson: Secretary Treasurer Darla Meyer

E-Board members in attendance: Lori Manuel & Lisa Zeiset

E-Board not in attendance: Vonda Hardy, Vickey Hoots, Paul Lindner (grievance hearings). Jerry Lindsay (unable to be deployed) Ralph Roby (vacation).

Darla read the minutes of the June 14th 2011 Membership meeting. Pat Stewart motioned to accept the minutes as readwith a second from Susan Clifton.

Motion carried: 4 for 0 against

Darla went over and discussed the financial report for June 2011. Pat Stewart motioned to accept the financial report with a second from Lisa Zeiset.

Motion carried 4 for 0 against.

Report of Officers: Darla advised that Vickey Hoots met with IBT and the company July 14th in PHX. She will give full report next meeting.

Committee Report: Susan Clifton gave the Health and Safety report. The meeting was held with management June 30th . Next meeting is tentatively set for September 3rd.

Unfinished Business: With the implementation of IVR, as of the day of the membership meeting the Local has not received any complaints.

There are no goals for CWT but the company is beginning to issue discipline. We are taking that as another form of harassment.

The company has said they will honor the contract regarding Snap Backs.

New Business: The Local is trying to spend more time in the break room regarding the Surveys and taking Members suggestions toward the up coming contract.

Good & Welfare: Please keep our co-workers and their families that are ill and or have suffered losses in your thoughts and prayers.
