CWA Local 3640 Membership Meeting

March 10, 2009

Call to order: 6:04pm

Pledge of Allegiance

Chairperson: President Vonda Hardy

E-Board members in attendance: Vickey Hoots, Darla Meyer, Lori Manuel,

Jerry Lindsay, Paul Lindner, Derrick Hicks.

E-Board members not in attendance: Robin Powell

Darla read the minutes of the February 10, 2009 Executive Board meeting.

Sheila Evans made a motion to accept the minutes as read. Tracy Binkley seconded the motion.    Motion carried: 15 for, 0 against.

Darla read the minutes of the February 10, 2009 Membership meeting.

Colista Ramseur Green made a motion to accept the minutes as read. Sherrill Winicker seconded the motion.   Motion carried: 16 for, 0 against.

Vonda discussed the two meetings held in DCA with Annie Hill.

Vonda addressed upcoming information on stats from all the reservation centers.

Discussion followed with members asking how the calls were being routed. Examples of inconsistency were Intl agents getting a CHP call while sitting next to a CHP agent who is receiving regular service calls.

Staff shortage in ticketing was discussed indicating a loss of revenue for the company because fee’s were not being collected before time of travel.

Darla reviewed financial report and answered questions.  Derrick Hicks motioned to accept the financial report with second by Tracy Binkley.

Motion carried: 19 for, 0 against.

Committee Reports:

Tracy Binkley provided handout and answered questions from Health and Safety meeting.

Rich Dennis read report from March 7th Legislative meeting.

Unfinished Business: Vonda contacted AT&T District 3 Locals asking what procedures they had in their contract for monitoring.

Tracy Binkley motioned to adjourn meeting Paul Lindner second motion.

Motion carried, meeting adjourned at 7:50pm.
