Reading of December 9, 2008 E-board and membership minutes by Darla Meyer

Motion from Tracy Binkley to accept the minutes as read, second by Rich Dennis.

No discussion Motion carried 14 for, 0 against, 1 abstain.

Financial report for November 2008 and December 2008 read by Darla Meyer, discussion followed.

Motion from Ruby Coughenour to accept financial reports, second by Tracy Binkley.

Discussion followed, Motion carried 18 for, 0 against, 2 abstain.

Committee Reports:

Community Services: Lori Manuel advised great success with the silver stocking project.

Health and Safety: no report but discussion from members about the quads on the completed floors in the building.

Legislative: Rich Dennis read report from November 2008 meeting.

Old Business:

Vickey addressed the motion from December 2008 membership meeting about changing the Local’s By-Laws to reflect meetings every other month. Discussion followed.

Darla Meyer read the motion from meeting notes, Vickey called for the vote.

Motion not carried, 3 for, 14 against, 5 abstain.

Vickey advised members that the Local’s website has been updated to reflect the new E-Board as requested from last meeting.
