CWA Local 3640 Membership Meeting

October 11, 2011

Call to Order: 12:04pm

Pledge of Allegiance

Chairperson: President Vonda Hardy

E-Board in attendance: Vickey Hoots, Darla Meyer, Lori Manuel, Jerry Lindsay, Paul Lindner, Lisa Zeiset and Ralph Roby

Darla read the minutes of the September 13, 2011 Membership Meeting. Vickey Hoots motioned to accept the minutes as read with a second from Lisa Zeiset.

Motion carried: 8 for 0 against.

Darla went over and discussed the financial report for September 2011. Ralph Roby motioned to accept the financial report with the second by Paul Lindner.

Motion carried: 8 for 0 against.

Report of Officers: Vonda discussed the bargaining meeting in PHX September 14th and 15th. The next bargaining meeting will be in November in PHX.

Vonda discussed the State Meeting in MYR in early October. Vonda, Vickey, Darla and Lori attended for the Union. Tim Lindemann, Debi Jones and John Lyerly attended for the company (at their own expense). Discussions included group department, CSD, RNO baggage service department, preferred desk understaffing and INTL. Suggestions the Union made to management was RNO having a CSD desk for baggage calls, open Preferred up for transfers and  every department handling their own calls. Discussion also took place on reevaluating AHT to raise goals due to Wally handling all the easier calls.

Committee Reports: Susan Clifton gave report of the Health and Safety meeting held October 10th.

New Business: Susan Clifton asked about handle time being increased.

Vonda advised everyone having problems with ballots to contact the Election Committee.
